Got an error 9 code shown on display? This is probably the most difficult error code to sort out because every single part can be the cause. Follow our steps to locate the real faulty part(short circuit).

If this error code occurs after a period of use, disconnect the adapter, PAS sensor, and motor wire respectively to check whether the error code changes or disappear.

Step1, check your wareharness, see the video at 2:31, disconnect your throttle and brake lever, If the error code disappears after disconnection, you need to replace the part. If the error code is still there, proceed to step 2.

Step 2, check PAS, see the video at 5:39, disconnect the pas, check if the code is still there, if code is disappear, you need to change PAS. If the error code is still there, proceed to step 3.

Step 3, check the model cable, see the video at 6:48, disconnect the motor cable, if the error code change to the 4 or 24. It means the motor is good. If the error code remains Error 9, it means the faulty part is the motor.

This is a simple check step, if you have any questions, please contact Revibikes support for further assistance.
